KeyC is simple method of measurement of active fraction of organic matter active fraction that is sensitive enough to use as a predictor of a longer term change in soil organic matter content within 2-5 years of a change in management.
It is used in combination with our KeySoil Status estimator or a consultant interview to confirm whether a management change is affecting soil organic matter in the way you expect.
